Boycott: See ya, Kraft products.

Oreo came out yesterday and said they “Support Love”. And so, today this site comes out and says we ‘Support Authentic Love’.

See ya, Kraft products. And no, (see below) we won’t rethink our stance…

Satan has disguised himself as Christians in Humboldt County.

A Facebook friend said it best: “I think now I have met the Antichrist and seen his evil works. Satan has disguised himself as Christians in Humboldt County.”

And he’s right.

Do these people really believe that it pleases Jesus to pray for the death of unborn children in the womb? Or, are they just plain-out bat shit crazy? The story follows…

Life News: A local Planned Parenthood abortion business in California is copycatting the 40 Days for Life campaign, which recently resulted in saving the lives of more than 700 unborn children from abortion. The abortion business has set up its own 40 Days of Prayer for the local abortion center.

“We trust you to decide about your sexuality, having your children, and planning your family,” says a flier promoting the Humbolt County Clergy for Choice event. “We are religious leaders who value all human life. We accept that religions differ about when life begins. We are here to help.”

“We believe that human life is holy. That’s why we believe in your right to choose to be a parent or not,” the pro-abortion religious leaders continue. “It can be helpful to talk with friends you trust, with licensed counselors, and with whatever religious person you choose. Humboldt County Clergy are available to talk with you about the spiritual aspects of choice. Find out more by calling Six Rivers Planned Parenthood.”

“Humboldt County Clergy for Choice invite you to set aside time with your family and community to support women and reproductive justice for 40 days from March 18th through April 27th,” they say.

Acts of the Apostasy on WordPress!

A big TOF welcome to Acts of the Apostasy here on WordPress! Click and follow the fun…

Welcome To My New Home.

"Very Extraordinary" Eucharistic Ministers...

Come on in, make yourself at home…actually, scratch that.  Some of you might be Occupiers, and I can’t have anyone pitching tents in the front yard, peeing in the koi pond or doing you-know-what in the azaleas.

Anyway – I’ve made the switch.  After last Saturday’s glitch with Blogger (I’m of the opinion that I was hacked), I decided to migrate to WordPress.  I’m still arranging my stuff and filling out my blogroll, so please be patient.  I think I’ll keep my sidebar a bit more spartan this go around.  And all my past posts and comments have been imported.

So update your links and readers.  Click that “Follow” button.  Tell all your family and friends on Facebook.  Tweet it.  Plurk it.  Post about it at your blog.  Text your bff’s.  Contact your congressman.  Email your senator.  Put it in your parish bulletin.  Get it in your church announcements.

This is AoftheA’s new home.  Welcome.

One more thing – would you do me a favor and sign the guestbook? (that would be “leave a comment”, for those who attended U of Mich)  Curious to know who’s stopping in.  Thanks!

Fr. Berrigan watches the golden calf go by…

Fr. Dan Berrigan watches the golden calf go by

As reported here, George Soros, a Wall Street billionaire criminally charged with insider trading, and MoveOn.org, a front group for the Wall Street-financed Obama administration, are now joining forces to voice their “support” for an anti-Wall Street movement Occupy Wall Street.

Lo and behold, “Catholic” political group Catholics United (Financed by George Soros during the 2008 presidential election) promoted their own participation in Occupy Wall Street this week on Facebook… Wonder if Fr. Berrigan knows that these Soros-funded outfits want to turn the OWS protest into an Obama campaign re-election tool?

Here’s a video clip of the political religious deception.

A clarification on seeking orthodoxy within the two forms of the Roman Liturgy, ordinaria and extraordinaria

Received a fraternal correction today on Facebook concerning the orthodoxy we seek within the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass… First, my comment on the release of INSTRUCTION ON THE APPLICATION OF THE APOSTOLIC LETTER SUMMORUM PONTIFICUM :

“It’s about time, it’s about space, it’s about orthodoxy taking its rightful place…”

The correction came…

The absence of a Mass in the Extraordinary Form is not an indication of a lack of orthodoxy. Indeed, the Holy See’s instruction itself says: “6. The Roman Missal promulgated by Pope Paul VI and the last edition prepared under Pope John XXIII, are two forms of the Roman Liturgy, defined respectively as ordinaria and extraordinaria: they are two usages of the one Roman Rite, one alongside the other. Both are the expression of the same lex orandi of the Church.”.

I couldn’t agree and support this statement more. It’s a teaching of the Church.. However, I could supply ample proof(s), from this blog alone, of disobedience to mass norms and resulting unorthodox liturgical practices played out within the Mass. The crisis of disobedience and irreverence seemingly ever-present within the Church in our days is exemplified here, and like many I’m just simply tired of abuses found within the Mass. Not to mention having to sit through Protestant-nized masses offering us musical treats similar to the following…

Facebook Pro-Life Quotes of the day…

“Life is always a good.” — John Paul II

Mrs. Smith is thanking God today for babies and children. Whether you have children or not, whether they are grown up or not – we should all try to keep babies and children in our lives – we get way more from them than we could ever give them. We NEED our babies – please pray for an end to abortion.

Mrs. Cassiday Well said J – this is a message many of our medical personnel need to recognize as well. Just because a child isn’t going to be “perfect” in man’s eyes, doesn’t mean that child isn’t perfect in God’s eyes (or their mothers)….I still get angry over how many doctors suggested that I terminate Andrew….I still remember the look on the world renowned Pediatric Neurosurgeon when I calmly asked him to stop telling me to kill my child because it was never going to happen……

EDITOR NOTE: Keep these beautiful words in mind as you read about this terrible quiet revolution…
