Spiritual Madness

jim-at-be.jpg In last week’s post I lamented the fact that teenagers, indoctrinated by Planned Parenthood (sic.), were helping to present sex education to middle school kids at Lorna Byrne Middle School in Cave Junction, Oregon.

Now as we all know, school education not only educates the minds of our children in order to prepare them for entering the world, but also, informs and molds the morality of students (and society) within the world: Public education affects the moral conscience, and therefore, the moral choices our children will make in the future…

To date, there have been over 45 million moral choices concerning the fate of 45 million unborn children since 1973. The result? The death of 45 million persons by choice

The video ‘Mad World’ below exemplifies the point, and sadly, is based on a true story.

Note: This student project video was the production of a University of Arizona student (Brooke Burns). Apparently, out of 50 other student films, this was the only video the professor would not show due (we suppose) to its pro life content. For more info. on the project you can bop over to the Bettnet site–the tag is on my blogroll to the right.

The secret to defeating the culture of death prevailing within our culture, and therefore, within our schools and families is education… A true education which takes into consideration the spiritual reality of the human soul created in the image of God; the same God, by the way,  Who has viewed these images Himself in real life… Now, Let us pray for the father, the mother, the child and for a swift end to this madness through faith and works.

053107cover.jpg Admittedly, I went to Mass this past Friday morning grumpy. Long story short, it had a little to do, (o.k. alot), to do with international corporations and their soulless disrespect for the human dignity of their workforce. Let’s just say that I’ve seen too many good hardworking men and women relieved of their positions lately, with little respect concerning their present livelyhood or future… Pray for these.

After Mass, I felt better. At least until I wandered upon the Eugene Weekly Cover you see above… ‘Be angry, but, sin not’, I tell myself. Spiritual madness comes in different forms I suppose–righteous, unrighteous, and downright wicked…

In a recent article I’ve read, there is supposedly a growing rift occuring within the Church between psychologists and exorcists–the age of reason vs. the middle ages (again). Here’s the truth dear lover of God: it’s easily reasonable that Satan has hidden Himself in the middle of every age... Look at the cover again.

And for those of you who doubt, as St. Paul says, that, ‘our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens…’, I offer again the real story behind the movie the Exorcist below:

Want to comfort the Heart of God on this Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity? Pray this:

The Angel’s Prayer

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

‘All who are led by the spirit of God are children of God…’ (Rom 8:14).
